In order of their appearance, the speakers are Thomas Banchoff, director of the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs at Georgetown University; Michael Cromartie, vice president of the Ethics and Public Policy center; Christopher Hitchens, the author most recently of God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything (May 2007); and Alister McGrath, the author most recently of Christianity's Dangerous Idea: The Protestant Revolution—A History from the Sixteenth Century to the Twenty-First (September 2007).
