"Carter Snead makes EPPC's outstanding bioethics team even stronger," said EPPC President Ed Whelan.  "He's a great addition."

EPPC board member Robert P. George, who as a member of the President's Council on Bioethics worked closely with Professor Snead, hailed his appointment:  "Carter Snead combines expertise in the legal dimensions of bioethics with a mastery of the scientific facts.  He's a superb scholar."

Major Debate on Space Policy
Zubrin and Park square off

Two leading commentators on space policy discussed President Bush's new vision for NASA at EPPC in February 2004. Sparks flew as Robert Zubrin, a leading advocate of manned space exploration, and Robert Park, a leading critic, debated face to face for the first time.

The views expressed by EPPC scholars in their work are their individual views only and are not to be imputed to EPPC as an institution.
