Rick Santorum to Participate in "Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week"
By Rick Santorum
Posted: Monday, October 22, 2007

PRESS RELEASE
Publication Date: October 22, 2007

Washington, D.C. -- Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA), a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, will deliver a speech at Penn State University, Temple University, and the University of Pennsylvania during "Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week," October 22-26.

"I am enormously grateful for the opportunity to speak at three of Pennsylvania's great universities. While the sounds of opposition to the war are heard frequently on our college campuses, I plan to offer a perspective our students rarely hear -- my views on who our true enemies are, what they believe, and why it is so important to defeat them," said Santorum.

"Rick Santorum has been the most courageous and outspoken public figure in America alerting all of us to the true nature of the enemy we face," said David Horowitz, founder of the Freedom Center, and organizer of "Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week," which includes events at over 100 schools across America.

Speech Schedule for Rick Santorum:

Tuesday, October 23, 8:00 p.m., Penn State University, 119 Osmand Hall

Wednesday, October 24, 5:30 p.m., University of Pennsylvania, Penn Hillel-Steinhardt Hall

Wednesday, October 24, 8:00 p.m., Temple University, Temple Student Center Rm. 218

Senior Fellow Rick Santorum in the News

Santorum: America must fight radical Islam
"'The enemy are, as I have termed them, Islamic fascists. Some would argue that all of Islam is corrupt. I do not. Some would argue that it's just a very, very small, one tenth of 1 percent. I would argue that it's not that small either. But it is serious, it is real, it is growing,' Santorum said."  Brown Daily Herald (April 6, 2007)

Moore, Gore...and now Santorum?
"'Politics and political dialogue has some impact on America but changing the culture has a much bigger impact,' Santorum said about his new role outside the public sector and his push to make documentaries." Morning Call (March 26, 2007)

Republicans chart their own courses following November losses
"As a senior fellow at EPPC, Santorum plans to raise public awareness about emerging national security threats: 'Islamic fascists' in Iran, he said, communists in North Korea, socialists in Venezuela, radical leftists in Russia." World Magazine (February 10, 2007)
