Rick Santorum to Deliver Speech on "The Gathering Storm of the 21st Century"
By Rick Santorum
Posted: Monday, November 5, 2007

PRESS RELEASE
Publication Date: November 5, 2007

Washington, D.C. -- Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA), a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, will deliver a speech on the “Gathering Storm of the 21st Century" at Harvard, the University of Oklahoma, the University of Virginia, and Duke University.  The speech series is sponsored by the Intercollegiate Studies Institute in conjunction with the Ethics and Public Policy Center.

"While the sounds of opposition to the war are heard frequently on our college campuses, I plan to offer a perspective our students rarely hear -- my views on who our true enemies are, what they believe, and why it is so important to defeat them.  I am enormously grateful to ISI for giving me the opportunity to do just that," said Santorum.

"ISI first worked with Senator Santorum on his book, It Takes a Family, and we are delighted to work with him once again.  For over fifty years, ISI has worked to bring conservative perspectives onto college campuses, and together with EPPC, we are proud to present Senator Santorum on this important issue," said Miriam Keim, director of lectures at ISI.

Speech Schedule for Rick Santorum:

Monday, November 5, Harvard, 6:00 p.m., Harvard Hall, Room 201

Wednesday, November 7, Oklahoma, 7:00 p.m., MSB Ballroom

Monday, November 12, UVA, Time/Location TBD

Tuesday, December 4, Duke, Time/Location TBD

Radical-in-Chief

Read EPPC Senior Fellow Stanley Kurtz's remarkable new political biography of President Obama, Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism. The New York Times bestseller, which draws on never-before-seen evidence to reveal the carefully hidden tale of Barack Obama's political past, has already earned praise as "the most important political book of the year" and as "a meticulous work of political archeology, an excavation of Obama's radical roots and socialist affiliations."
