On April 5th, 2012, EPPC Fellow James C. Capretta presented at the Pioneer Institute’s 2012 Hewitt Health Care Lecture on “The Future of Medicare and Medicaid.” Mr. Capretta’s remarks followed a presentation by Dr. Don Berwick, former administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The lecture concluded with a panel discussion moderated by Tom Scully, former president and CEO of the Federation of American Hospitals and administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
