Kasey Cook
Assistant to the President
Kasey Cook is the assistant to the president, M. Edward Whelan III, and to senior fellow Hillel Fradkin.

Intern, International Christian Embassy Jerusalem (ICEJ), January to April, 2003
Provide administrative assistance to Susan Michael, Director of the USA branch of the ICEJ.  Duties include, but not limited to, logistical planning of travel itineraries, coordination of events held in the US with ICEJ’s Jerusalem staff, research for the Director’s Talking Points, as well as editing of various documents and letters.

County Coordinator, Jay Wolf Campaign for US Senate, Summer 2002
Worked in conjunction with the WV Upshur County Republican Committee to plan fundraising events and meetings.  Coordinated Precinct leaders to call all registered voters in their precinct before Election Day.  Volunteered at the campaign headquarters with data entry.

Intern, Senate Republican Policy Committee, Spring 2002
Provided research for policy analysts allowing me to explore many diverse issues.  Refined skills in political and legal research.  Observed debates in the Senate and House.  Attended Congressional Briefings, Library of Congress lectures and Senate committee hearings.  Edited several floor statements for the RPC website.  Participated in the coordination of a large reception for the Senate High Tech Task Force in the Capitol building.  Constructed the High Tech Task Force Voter Guide. 

Parliamentarian/Executive Counsel, Campbell University Student Government Assoc., 2000-2001
Maintained order by facilitating discussion through the application of Roberts Rules of Order, organized meetings, timed debates, chaired meeting in absence of Vice President.

Writer, The Pineburr annual, 2000-2001
Conducted interviews, wrote feature articles, practiced clarity in writing, focused attention to detail.

Secretary College Republicans, 2001
Organized projects and events, responsible for communication with members.
Office Assistant to Atty. Don Davis of Raleigh, NC, Jan-March 2000
Handled casework involving creditors and clients, functioned as a liaison between attorney and clients. 

Working Student, Tamarack Hill Farm, 1998-2000
Trained with former Olympian and 3-Day Event Rider Denny Emerson.  Competed at the national preliminary level in the United States Combined Training Assoc.  Assisted with Tamarack’s breeding program, along with the training, care and exercise of horses from novice through advanced levels.
